Great Golf in the Brookline, Newton, Chestnut Hill and Boston Area

Some of the most stunning, well manicured, well-facilitated, and well-designed courses in the Country are available in the Boston-Brookline-Newton-Chestnut Hill area of New England’s Massachusetts. With over 100 country clubs, private, semi-private and public, to choose from, you will be sure to find just the right site for your golfing and social needs.

South Shore Country Club
Whatever your recreational desires, South Shore Country Club has the venue to satisfy them. Owned by the Town of Hingham, the club features a beautiful and challenging 18-hole golf course, a 10-lane candlepin bowling alley, three tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool!

The Country Club of Billerica
We are an 18 hole public golf course located in Billerica, Massachusetts.  The club offers full instructional programs through the Barrie Bruce Golf Schools, a repair shop, a driving range, a putting green, a full service lounge, and exquisite facilities with affordable package pricing for all of your function needs.

Shaker Hills Golf Club
What really sets Shaker Hills apart from other public courses is its "private club" atmosphere and amenities. Shaker Hills offers impeccably groomed Bent Grass tees, greens, and fairways, with multiple teeing areas that provide a variety of driving situations and angles of approach. Nestled among pines, stone outcroppings, and rolling landscape, this truly is a golfer's paradise, which is why Golf Digest rated Shaker Hills among the elite public courses in the U.S. and Canada from a list of more than 6,500 courses

Sagamore Spring Golf Course
Located just 20 minutes north of Boston in the suburb of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, SSGC has offered daily fee golf to the public since 1929. Set on 180 picturesque acres, the course offers a rural feel despite its urban location. As one of the North Shore’s most popular and enjoyable golf destinations, SSGC is an ideal option for golfers of all abilities. We offer complete access to every golfer with tee times seven days a week, USGA Handicap Services, Club Tournaments, Group Outing Services, Driving Range, PGA Golf Instruction, Club Fitting and an atmosphere that is great for spending time with family and friends.

Cedar Glen Golf Club - Saugus, MA
This is a fairly easy course, so beginners and seniors will really enjoy playing here. The course was built on flat terrain. Since the fairways are extremely open, it would be wise to break out the driver instead of the three wood. Orrin Smith redesigned the course in 1931. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

Colonial Golf Club - Wakefield, MA
The Sheraton Colonial Golf Club is located north of Boston, where this traditional New England style golf course is regarded as one of the finest public golf courses. The 6,565 yard, par 70 layout, features rolling hills and fresh-water marshes surrounded by many picturesque seasonal growth. For years the Colonial has been considered the premier public golf course on the North Shore.

Braintree Municipal Golf Course - Braintree, MA
Meet our special employees for Goose Control!  But, please don’t feed us.

William J. Devine Franklin Park Golf, Dorchester
Only 3.7 miles from Boston, this course was built on gently rolling hills, and has wide fairways. The fairways are lined with fir and oak trees, and there is one pond that comes into play on four holes. The signature hole is #12, a 407-yard, par 4, which plays completely uphill with sand bunkers, mounds and bunkers coming into play around the green and on the fairway

Mount Hood Golf Course, Melrose, MA
For golf and tennis, this is a great spot.

Brookline Massachusetts Senior Golf
Being vital and active is essential for everyone’s well being, no matter what age. The Brookline Senior Center embraces this philosophy by engaging the 60 plus crowd in recreational activities, programs and events to promote health, movement, learning, the arts, nutrition and socializing. There is a computer lab, daily lunch and community events.  Looking for fun, friends and new interests? The senior center is alive with a variety of programs. Feel free to stop in and check out

Historical Look at The Country Club, Brookline, Massachusetts
America's first country club wasn't initially founded with golf in mind and it is still the site today for numerous other world class pursuits apart from golf. The pond behind the 3rd green was used by Tenley Albright in preparing for her figure skating gold medal.

The Main at Country Club – Brookline, Private
This club has a regulation eighteen-hole course and a nine hole executive course. The Main Course has small greens and wide fairways. There are several sand bunkers on the course, and water hazards come into play on two holes.

The Primrose at Country Club – Brookline, Private

Newton Commonwealth Golf Course – Public

Charles River Country Club – Newton, Private
Unlike many modern courses that beat up the golfer if he is off his game on the day, Charles River remains fun to play even when your 'A' game is at home. Isn't Ross the all-time master at designing such courses?

Willowbend Country Club – Mashpee, near Chestnut Hill – Private
At Willowbend, life is all about relaxing and living. Every day you can experience superb New England golf on our 27-holes along with the extraordinary range of recreational activities and personal services that await you. Spend carefree days and memorable nights surrounded by the finest sports facilities. Whether it's a round of golf, a game of tennis, a great morning workout, and lunch by the pool or a delightful dinner and wine tasting with friends, the choice is yours.

Quashnet Valley Country Club – Mashpee – Semi-Private
You are invited to play one of Cape Cod's finest public golf courses. Quashnet Valley's 6601-yard par 72-championship layout will prove both entertaining and challenging for golfers of all abilities. Quashnet's scenic layout, developed around 330 acres of Cape Cod cranberry bogs and the Quashnet River, offers a beautiful collection of golf holes meandering through a natural setting. The tree-lined fairways, panoramic elevated tees, tranquil ponds and manicured greens will add to your days' enjoyment.

Granite Links Golf Club, Chestnut Hill
A 27-hole championship course.  Offers a driving range, practice area, golf outings and special events.  Also clubhouse, locker room, corporate meeting room, grille room, banquet facility and outdoor patio.

New England Country Club, Bellingham
The scenic New England Country Club is one of the best-conditioned public courses in the area.  This enjoyable 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Hale Irwin, has the look and feel of a private golf course.  The rolling hills, tree lined fairways, and multiple tee boxes give each hole a unique character and provide a fair challenge for all ability levels.

Stonebridge Country Club, Manchester, New Hampshire
A New Hampshire golf course with a Four Star Rating, located just outside Manchester, New Hampshire Stonebridge Country Club is an 18-hole, championship length, public course offering memberships, fireside dining, outdoor dining, banquet and wedding facilities.

Chelmsford Country Club
Chelmsford features a public nine-hole golf course with a practice range and fully stocked Pro Shop in a quiet picturesque setting. While the course is fun but formidable, the 2467-yard design makes it playable for all skill levels, and even the most experienced golfers can be challenged by the small rolling greens.

The Shattuck
Carved from the granite foothills of Mt. Monadnock, is one of the most visually stunning golf courses you'll ever play.  Course architect Brian Silva calls this "the most spectacular setting we've ever come across." (New England Golf Magazine, July/August 1991) Each hole is framed by forests of oak, birch and pine, shielding it from the view of other holes so you never feel crowded.  It is, as one writer described it, "like 18 separate gems strung together in a perfect setting."

Nabnasset Lake Country Club
Established in 1936, the club offers golf and social membership. Our function hall is available to the public and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The hall features an 800 square foot dance floor with a wrap-around deck overlooking the golf course.  A full bar and several catering options are available

Stow Acres Country Club
Stow Acres Country Club located just 25 miles west of Boston in the country town of Stow, MA, is a multifunctional public facility that is uniquely suited to satisfy the recreational, professional, and social requirements of individuals, businesses, and organizations.
Our beautiful site is distinguished by two award winning championship 18-hole golf courses, the North and South, anchored by a renovated antique Victorian clubhouse.

Brookmeadow Golf, Canton, MA
Opened in 1967, Brookmeadow Country Club was designed and built
by Frank Simoni. Today, Brookmeadow has become one of the South Shore's favorite public courses to play. The course is easy to walk and offers an interesting and challenging golf experience to all levels of skill.

Real Estate Tips
Cosmetic Improvements >Kitchen Clutter

The kitchen is usually very important to prospective buyers. Your kitchen may not be new and state-of-the-art, but it should look its best.

Your kitchen should be spotlessly clean and well organized while your home is on the market. The counter tops should be clean and free of clutter, and the floor should shine. Appliances should be clean and in good working order. You may want to add a few decorator touches or replace cabinets, flooring, and even appliances for a small investment. Dollars spent on kitchen improvements usually pay major dividends when you sell your home. If you are planning to sell your home and need some advice in this area, an agent will be happy to discuss your options with you.
